With a marketing degree and a bi-cultural background, Patty was at the forefront of the Hispanic marketing niche and has helped shape much of what is known today about marketing to a Spanish-speaking community. Throughout her career she has worked with numerous Fortune 500 companies and has been highly regarded as a role model within the international business community. In 1987, Patty launched Cohen Latino Communications which served a multitude of different industries including cable, banking, automotive, fast food and personal products. Her company developed a fully integrated communications program that included both internal and external systems as well as public relations enabling them to capture a substantial share of the Hispanic consumer market.

As a successful business owner, Patty was recruited to serve on a number of boards which included The Executive Committee of the Greater San Diego Chamber of Commerce, Mayor Golding's Business Advisory Council and the Association of Hispanic Advertising Agencies. She is also a founding member of the San Diego County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and has received numerous awards and was included in San Diego Magazines "People to Watch" issue.

Her entrepreneurial background, strong communication skills, and passion for working with people led her naturally to a real estate career. In 2002, she joined her sister Susana's top-producing team at Prudential California Realty.

In 2012 Patty ranked #21 out of over 50,000 Prudential agents nationwide.
